House rules

• Be kind. No abuse, harassment, threats or discrimination.
• Don't post anyone's house number, phone number or when they're away — use "Contact the poster" instead.
• Keep recommendations honest and based on your own experience. Stick to facts, not accusations.
• No spam, scams or commercial posts outside Local businesses.
• Only post photos you took or have permission to share.

Using the site

• Membership is for people who live on Pacific Parade. One account per person; everyone in a household is welcome to join.
• You're responsible for what you post. You keep ownership of it, and you let us show it on this site and in our emails.
• We can remove posts or comments, or suspend accounts, that break these rules or the law. If you think we got it wrong, see complaints and appeals.
• The site is run by volunteers. We'll do our best to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available, and we may change or close it.

Disclaimer

• Spotlight updates, including those about the cliff walk landslip, are a summary for neighbours. They are not official advice. For safety decisions, follow Auckland Council, Auckland Transport and emergency services, and obey any closures and signs.
• Posts, recommendations and business listings are the views of the neighbours who wrote them. We don't check, endorse or guarantee any business, tradesperson, event or item. Please use your own judgement.
• Giveaways and swaps are between the people involved. We aren't part of the arrangement and can't help with disputes.
